You can earn money from your app for your users – in your branding, with your reviews.
Your very own app:
- Your look and feel – your app would have your logo on every page (the text Travel Expert will be replaced with your design)
- Display your reviews and articles in a format where users can read anytime, anywhere – reviews are stored on the device such that they can be read on an airplane, in offline mode and when users do not have internet access
- Earn through upgrades – a handy upgrade button allows users to get rid of adverts. You chose the price for the upgrade and you get all the income from upgrades from your app
- Earn through adverts – in a style similar to Facebook, you can have bespoke adverts displayed on various pages
- The app is designed to work on both iPhones and iPads.
The functionality. With this app users can:
- Select a city from the home page. From the Home page, users can select from the cities that you have written about. When a city is selected, users are taken to the Browse page.
- In the browse page users can scroll through the list of Points of Interest. In the menu they can select from various filters (‘hotels’, ‘restaurants’, ‘activities’, ‘shopping’ and ‘other’). When a user taps one of the Points of Interest, they are taken to the main review page.
- Pictures alongside each Point of Interest help the users in their search. These pictures are stored on the server, not the app – helping to keep the app file size low.
- Other facilities in the scroll bar allow users to jump straight to the map for the Point of Interest (POI), know that there is a discount available or see the rating for that place.
Main Review Page:
- A beautiful page where your reviews can be read and users can obtain more information about the Point of Interest
- A menu on the left hand side allows users to see the location on a map and add the POI to their favourites
- At the top of the page a picture of that POI is displayed. From the menu users can select to see more photos of that POI.
- You can chose whether or not users can add their own reviews and comments. If they do, they can also rate the POI.
Benefit From Shared Database:
- You can get a large discount and users can get an even greater experience if you share your reviews with the Travel Expert Database.
- On your app your reviews will always be at the top for each main review page. Below that will be other users reviews.
- Your reviews, with your name and a link to your website will also be displayed on other Travel Expert platforms. This will expand your marketing reach with thousands more users reading your reviews and being able to click straight through to your website.
- Selected reviews would be displayed on our website. Again each review will have be written with your credits, with a link to your website. This has the benefit of increasing your website’s Search Engine Optimisation (make it more visible in Google) as well as expanding your marketing.
Generate an Extra Income
- The app is initially free to download from the App Store. When in the app, there are a few adverts at the bottom of the screen. Users can upgrade to get rid of the adverts and you receive all the profits from the upgrades.
How much does it cost?
- Less than you may think! For your app, with your logo, the benefits of the shared database – all this and more from £350 setup and £30/month (minimum 12 months).
