Examples of Travel Expert City Guides / Travel Expert Media include Travel Expert app, various city guides distributed by Travel Expert City Guides (formerly Patagia Ltd), the www.TravelExpert.wiki and www.travelexpertapp.com websites and other Travel Expert City Guides apps.
Travel Expert City Guides reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Site. Travel Expert City Guides reserves the right at any time to change these terms and conditions.

All copyright, trade marks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on Travel Expert City Guides Content belong to the Travel Expert City Guides and/or third parties (which may include you or other users). Travel Expert City Guides reserves all of its rights in Travel Expert City Guides. Nothing in the Terms grants you a right or licence to use any trade mark, design right or copyright owned or controlled by Travel Expert Media or any other third party except as expressly provided in these Terms.
Transfer of rights:
You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights and obligations in the Terms to any other person.
General restrictions on how you may use Travel Expert Media Services:
You may not infringe or try to infringe the privacy or other rights of other Travel Expert Media Services users. This includes you storing or trying to store personal data or usage details of other Travel Expert Media Services users.
You may not infringe any applicable law (for instance copyright law) when using Travel Expert Media Services or Travel Expert Media Content.
You may not subject Travel Expert Media Services and/or the Travel Expert Media Content to any derogatory treatment or use them in such a way that would bring Travel Expert Media into disrepute, or cause Travel Expert Media to incur liability to any third party.
You agree to use Travel Expert Media Services and access, download, view and/or listen to Travel Expert Media Content as supplied to you by Travel Expert Media, and you may not assist anyone to, or attempt to, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, adapt, modify, copy, reproduce, lend, hire, rent, perform, sub-license, make available to the public, create derivative works from, broadcast, distribute, commercially exploit, transmit or otherwise use in any way Travel Expert Media Services and/or Travel Expert Media Content in whole or in part except to the extent permitted in these Terms of Use, any relevant Additional Terms and at law.
You may not directly or indirectly charge others for accessing, viewing or listening to any Travel Expert Media Content, or commercialise or attempt to re-sell the Travel Expert Media Content in any way, which includes advertising or selling any goods and services which offer Travel Expert Media Content including any third party software applications.
You may not directly or indirectly suggest any endorsement or approval by Travel Expert Media of a product or service (for instance, a personal website) or any non-Travel Expert Media entity, product or content or any belief or opinion expressed within a product or service.
You may not disrupt or try to disrupt Travel Expert Media Services. You agree not to use Travel Expert Media Services to distribute software viruses or other harmful programs, or use Travel Expert Media Services to engage in harmful, harassing or otherwise objectionable activity, including activity inhibiting access to Travel Expert Media Services by others.
You may not harass or cause distress or inconvenience to any other person using Travel Expert Media Services or transmit obscene or offensive content or disrupt the normal flow of dialogue within Travel Expert Media Services, in particular, on Travel Expert Media message boards and blogs.
Additional Terms for particular Travel Expert Media Services may allow you to display the Travel Expert Media Content on your website, blog or other product or service, but you may not display Travel Expert Media Content where it is on or in connection with Excluded Products or Services, namely products or services which:
- contain pornography and sexually explicit content;
contain offensive text or images; - incite hatred whether based on race, religion, gender, sexuality or otherwise, or promote, encourage or facilitate anti-social behaviour;

- promote, encourage or facilitate terrorism or other activities that risk national security;
- discriminate against any specific social group or otherwise exploit vulnerable sections of society;
- promote, facilitate or encourage illegal activity;
- are misleading, defamatory, or that contain illegal, or otherwise actionable content under UK law;
- infringe individual privacy;
- put the welfare of children at risk;
- promote the tobacco industry or the armaments industry (including gun clubs);
- where presence of a Travel Expert Media application might be perceived as damaging Travel Expert Media? reputation for accuracy and impartiality; and
- bring Travel Expert Media into disrepute.
This list is not exhaustive and may be amended by Travel Expert Media from time to time.
Travel Expert Media Services and your device:
You can use Travel Expert Media Services on a variety of compatible devices. The Terms apply to your use of Travel Expert Media Services on any device. Travel Expert Media Services or some of the features and functionalities may not be available on all devices. Travel Expert Media makes no guarantee that all or any features of Travel Expert Media Services will work on any particular device.
How you may use our Applications:
You can use Applications for personal use provided you comply with these Terms.
Subject to any enforced payments, uou may download and use Travel Expert Media Applications and any subsequent updates made available by Travel Expert Media to access, view and/or listen to Travel Expert Media Content on a compatible device.
Travel Expert Media Content as made available by Travel Expert Media through an Application must always be displayed using that Application.
You may not directly or indirectly change, edit or add to or produce summaries of any Travel Expert Media Content or other content available through Applications nor place any Travel Expert Media Content in an HTML frame-set.
You do not have the right to use any Travel Expert Media Content or Travel Expert Media mark/logo on your device or elsewhere except as provided in the Application itself.
Installing updates to Applications:
You are solely responsible for installing update(s) to an Application. You acknowledge that you may not be able to access or use an Application or access Travel Expert Media Content via the Application unless you install relevant update(s).

Users of some apps may see advertisements on some Travel Expert Media Services. These advertisements are provided and delivered by Apple Inc.
Expenses, equipment and software:
You are solely responsible for paying all expenses you may incur when you access, download or use Travel Expert Media Services including your internet or data service provider charges and any excess charges to that provider if you have a limit on the amount of data you can download together with all costs of the equipment and software you need to connect to and use Travel Expert Media Services. Accessing and using some Travel Expert Media Services features may lead to substantial bandwidth usage by you which can be expensive, so you should be careful you do not exceed any ‘bandwidth cap’ on your account with your internet or data service provider. Travel Expert Media is not responsible if your equipment or software is not compatible with any Travel Expert Media Service. Travel Expert Media accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or other such causes;
- any loss or damage if Travel Expert Media Services are not provided to you or are interrupted or suspended or if Travel Expert Media does not comply with the Terms because of events beyond the Travel Expert Media? control, such as an act of God, accident, fire, lockout, strike or other official or unofficial labour dispute, civil commotion, decision of the Travel Expert Media Management, rule or order or act of Government or other act or event beyond the reasonable control of Travel Expert Media; and
Travel Expert Media is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access to the Material which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the any promotion.
Travel Expert Media’s right to stop making Travel Expert Media Services available to you:
Travel Expert Media reserves the right to stop making all or any part of the Travel Expert Media Services available to you with immediate effect and without notice if:
- in its sole reasonable opinion you are using the Travel Expert Media Content, Travel Expert Media Services and/or any other Travel Expert Media service, inappropriately (for instance harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other person),
- incompetently or in any way that may constitute derogatory treatment of Travel Expert Media or might bring the Travel Expert Media into disrepute or in a way that might be considered to be prejudicial to the image of the Travel Expert Media;
- you breach the Terms in a way that cannot be corrected, or you fail to correct a breach within a reasonable period of time if Travel Expert Media asks you to do so; or
- there is, in Travel Expert Media’s reasonable opinion, any reason why the Travel Expert Media Services must be withdrawn.
If any part of the Terms is found to be ineffective:
If any part of the Terms is found to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by a court or regulator, then, where required, that part shall be deleted from the Terms and the remaining parts of the Terms will continue to be enforceable.
If Travel Expert Media does not enforce a right against you:
If Travel Expert Media decides not to exercise or enforce any right that it has against you at a particular time, then this does not prevent Travel Expert Media from later deciding to exercise or enforce that right.
Third parties:
The Terms do not create or infer any rights that are enforceable by any person who is not party to the Terms.
If there is a dispute arising out of the Terms:
Any disputes arising out of the Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If you choose to bring proceedings in connection with the Terms you must do so in the courts of England and Wales.
Uploaded data:
By using a Travel Expert Media Service, uploading content to it or submitting comments to it, you give permission to Travel Expert Media (and third parties acting on behalf of Travel Expert Media) to make any pictures images, content, text, comments or videos or other material (“Material”) which you submit to the site available on this and other Travel Expert Media Services. By using the site and/or submitting Material to the site, you grant Travel Expert Media (and third parties acting on behalf of Travel Expert Media) an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, make derivative works, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Materials.
Travel Expert Media retains the absolute right to take down or not post Materials to the Site / Application without notice at any time and for any reason at its absolute discretion.
All materials submitted to the Site must be yours and must not be copied, must not contain any third party materials and/or content that you do not have permission to use. Your use of the Site is confirmation that you represent and warrant that you have all necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions which are required to enable Travel Expert Media to use the Material without any charge and that the Material is not libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening and that it shall not infringe any third party rights including, without limitation, copyright, performance rights and privacy.
You shall fully and effectively indemnify and hold Travel Expert Media harmless on demand from and against all claims, demands, losses, costs, charges and expenses (including, without limitation, legal expenses) arising from a claim by a third party that the provision by you of, or our authorised use of, the Materials submitted by you infringes any rights (including, but not limited to, privacy, performance rights, copyright and/or other intellectual property rights) of any third party.
Travel Expert Media has no responsibility for any Material which is lost, delayed, misdirected or damaged or altered in transmission.
Travel Expert Media disclaims liability for any injury or damage to You or any other person’s computer or mobile phone or recording equipment resulting from you downloading or uploading any Material to the Site and or Travel Expert Media Service.
Travel Expert Media’s Service is offered with the hope that you find it useful. However, Travel Expert Media or its employees, directors, shareholders, advisors or anyone on its behalf shall not be liable to you or any third party, for any reason whatsoever, as a result of Travel Expert Media’s product or Service. You hereby irrevocably release all of the above from any liability of any kind, for any consequence arising from the use of the Service including for any loss, loss of profit, damage to reputation, fee, expense or damage, direct or indirect, financial or non-financial.
